AS IMC WE IGNITE A LIGHT, NOW THE SKY'S BRIGHT...

IMC was established in 2007 by 5 students in Gebze, to work on the engineering fields related to robotics and compete in global competitions. By selling scraps, our former teammates earned some money to participate in a competition and formed a working spot by themselves. In the first year, our club has started its journey with competing in FLL. In 2011, which was a milestone for our team, team members attended FRC for the first time as the 4th team from Turkey. We have been participating in the FRC for 9 years. With new additions each year, IMC has 32 members from more than 10 different cities and different year groups now. Every 11th-grade student is responsible for educating the new members of the team. 4 years ago, our PR department started to work not only for sponsorship but also to spread the FIRST values by creating projects on our nature, gender equality, etc. and complete award applications such as Chairman’s and Entrepreneurship. For last season, we formed a new FTC team, IMC team #14331, as the second FTC team from Turkey and a new VRC team, #46262, as one of the first teams formed. With its present members, IMC more than a team, a family.

Our Vision

As Inanc Mechatronics Club, our vision is to create a community of passionate and driven individuals who are dedicated to advancing the field of mechatronics through the FIRST Foundation’s values of discovery, innovation, impact, inclusion, teamwork and fun.

We envision a world where people from all walks of life have access to the resources, knowledge, and opportunities they need to pursue their interests in mechatronics. We believe that by fostering a culture of collaboration and teamwork, we can create solutions that are not only innovative but also impactful.

Through our commitment to the FIRST Foundations values, we strive to inspire the next generation of innovators and problem solvers who will continue to push the boundaries of mechatronics and create positive change in the world.

Our Mission

The mission of the Inanc Mechatronics Club is to empower individuals to explore and innovate in the field of mechatronics, while promoting discovery, innovation, impact, inclusion, teamwork, and fun through the lens of the FIRST Foundations values.

We aim to provide a supportive and engaging community where members can share their knowledge and experiences, learn new skills, and collaborate on projects that push the boundaries of mechatronics. By offering mentorship opportunities, we strive to equip our members with the resources and tools they need to pursue their interests in mechatronics and achieve their goals.

Within our projects and initiatives, we seek to make a positive impact on the world around us. We believe that mechatronics can be a powerful tool for addressing some of the most pressing challenges facing society today, from environmental sustainability to healthcare and beyond. By harnessing the power of mechatronics and working together, we can create a better future for all.
